CHURCH FAMILY

We can all testify to the Lord’s faithfulness and grace towards us as a little local church. It has been encouraging to see how the believers are into each other’s lives; holding each other accountable and sacrificially supporting members in need. A lot of our members are going through rocky road, encountering challenges of different kinds but by His grace, they remain steadfast in the Lord. I have no greater joy than to see the saints walking in the truth.

JOY IN GRIEF

A week ago, a member of our church lost her husband. Mr. H was not a stranger to us, he regularly fellowshipped with us but we have known him much as a friend and not a brother in faith. While he was bedridden, the saints visited, prayed, shared the gospel, and provided meals for the family. Unfortunately, he succumbed to cancer at the age of 43. His last few days were full of scripture reading, prayer, and praise, and he kept asking more of it until his last breath. Even though it is painful and it will still take a lifelong for Mrs. K and their little ones to grieve the death of their beloved one, she is comforted, hopeful, and delighting in the Lord.

PLEASE PRAY WITH US

Pray for perseverance as we continue to draw closer to Jesus and to do His will
Pray that the Lord may kindly use us despite our sinfulness and weakness.
Pray specifically for our elders; Precious, Nkululeko and Sammy, as we deal with ongoing pastoral issues and seek to shepherd the flock and point each of us to the Great Shepherd.
